Hands down the worst Tesco I have ever been to. One isle had about 6-8 cages lines up to filled the shelf. I understand that it was 10 at night and it’s procedure to have loads of cages out after a certain time, but that’s a bit excessive especially when the store is still relatively busy, blocking off many of the shelves that had heavy products that i’ve seen several people having to weave between to get too. Very dangerous.
Tesco staff overall were very friendly and helpful, no faults there, but one who wasn’t was the security guard at the front. Just finished a small shop and went to use the customer toilets and was chased down like I was a criminal to say that they were closed. I never understood closing the public toilets while the store is open, but no one should be felt that they are in the wrong for wanting to simply use them. Looking at other reviews for this store I ain’t the only person that has had problems here and very recently as well.

This is the worst staff I have ever encountered in a Tesco,I showed my ID both my BRP and driving license and I got still refused sale for pack of monster, what kind of stupidity is this, the lady has been targeting me and my partner for a while now we both showed ID and this still happened,
Moreover got charged 40£ for parking even though we were doing our shopping in Tesco at the time,it says free parking and I have seen many people not validating parking,if this is a necessary requirement Tesco should say that customers must validate, scam this is

This was by far the worst Tesco experience I have ever had. Today, my boyfriend, my sister, and I went in to buy a Monster energy drink and were asked to show ID. At first, the staff member only asked to see one person's ID. Since we didn't have it with us, we went all the way back to the car to get it.
When we returned with valid ID, the situation suddenly changed. The staff member then said she wanted to see everyone's ID, even though that was not what we had originally been told. To make matters worse, my sister had already gone home by this point and was no longer with us. Despite us returning with the ID that had been requested, we were still refused service because we could not provide my sister's ID.
The whole situation was incredibly frustrating, confusing, and upsetting. The rules seemed to change for no reason, and we felt like we were being treated unfairly. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the interaction, showing no understanding of the situation. We did exactly what we were asked to do, yet we were still denied the purchase.
The member of staff involved was a middle-aged white woman with blonde hair, which may help management identify the interaction. The experience left us feeling targeted and embarrassed, especially after making the effort to return with identification as requested.
I am extremely disappointed by the way we were treated and would not expect this level of poor customer service from Tesco. A very upsetting experience that completely ruined our visit.

A good selection of well priced goods. However, when this store doesn't actually look busy, the queues for the tills are still, ridiculously long. A minority of the staff seem to care, but the majority of them seem to just be interested in chatting with their mates and removing your shopping basket, before it's even empty. They treat the customers as an inconvenience. There's a nearby Sainsbury that may be a few pence more expensive, but at least you get the feeling that they do give some thought to providing good service. The managers in this Tesco need to be put on refresher courses as a matter of urgency. Or preferably sacked. As it's been like this the last few times I've been here.

My friends and I went here to get alcoholic drinks we are all just 18 however they obviously saw a group of young people and that rung alarm bells. We were stopped in the middle of the shop by a worker saying “If you don’t all have ID’s we’re not serving you” fair enough, but no reason to stop us in the middle of shopping AND he was being extremely rude about it. Our friends left their ID’s in the car so we told them to go and get them so we could buy the alcohol. The same worker then stopped my friends as they were walking off and said “they’re not getting served even if you leave” with a lot of tone and rudeness. After this interaction we decided we didn’t want to buy it from this shop anymore out of spite because he was extremely rude. We were then at the till buying the fruit we had picked up, we had left the alcohol in the basket since we thought the worker who wanted us to put it back could put it back for us. The same worker came up to us AGAIN and said “I don’t know if you heard me the first time but you’re not getting served.” Very sassy. Very rude. Horrible customer service. If you had given us a chance we could've all shown our ID’s, we also felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time we were there as we could tell he’d judged us completely before even giving us a chance and watched us the whole time we were there.
