  Really handy Tesco Express while doing deliveries in the area. Plenty of parking space for a van, late opening hours, and consistently fresh sandwiches, fruit and coffee. Prices are reasonable and the Clubcard deals help too. Makes my long days much easier.

  Some times you are waiting to be served for a min or two due to under staff in my view later in night as staff have to stock and clear selves of rubbish card ect. other-wise good and friendly.

  Parking is good and the store is well stocked if not a little small, the problem is the staff or rather 1 member of staff. The older grey haired lady who has already been mentioned in a number of reviews on here, has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Her attitude towards customers is you're an inconvenience. She's rude with an extremely unpleasant, unapproachable manner. I won't leave a huge example of my experience but safe to say if you go in there on mornings, you'll know exactly who I'm talking about. She is a terrible ambassador for her employer, Tesco's clearly don't have performance reviews for their staff. Take my advice and drive a little further into Castleford and use the small Morrisons.

  Went in there this morning to get some essentials, went to the counter to pay for it, the woman ( the one with the white hair oldish lady) was more interested in chewing gum, after taking my essentials out of the basket still chewing gum mumbled how much it was no please or thank you, just chewing gum. Perhaps a crash course on customer service would be a good idea...
