  If you have received an email (like the photo) advertising £5.99 mains for Bank Holiday Monday might be worth noting that I visited on the last Bank Holiday Monday hoping to take advantage of the same promotion, only to be told on arrival that the offer was “at the manager’s discretion” and would not be honoured at that branch. This was frustrating, and I suspect others may encounter the same issue again over the upcoming Bank Holiday. It’s particularly disappointing because this used to be one of our favourite affordable family destinations. It has always been a great place for children and known for offering good value for money. However, over our last few visits, the overall experience has noticeably declined. Portion sizes seem smaller, the food quality is not as good as it once was, and it no longer feels like the value-for-money venue it used to be.

  Very tasty. We got the 5.99 value meal and starter soup. Soup was delicious. My wife got the fish and chips and upgraded to Haddock. It was more than she could eat.

  Throw back to last week. We hv a trip in Chippenham and stayed at Premium Inn next to this restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner there. As a guest of the hotel, u could enjoy meal deal with a good price. I would say a reasonable price for dinner but a cheap price for unlimited breakfast. Food -dinner 3 stars; breakfast-4 stars One more thing I would like to mention:- I noticed that there are two wonderful young staffs. Clera and Harrison are helpful and hardworking. Clera always has a smiling face and handles jobs quickly and well done. I appreciated Harrison's initiative in cleaning up tables for next guest. Although it is his job responsibility, his attitude impressed me when I talk to him. Hope that they continue to strive for and prepare for their dream careers. Wish all the best to them.

  Had fish and chips and the chef must be new as was very disappointed.The oil really is over due to be changed. We asked for 2slices of bread and it was that dry we asked for this to be changed. It came back warm so instead of fresh bread it was microwave very lazy and sloppy kitchen staff.
