The whole place needs a really good clean and a fresh coat of paint, with the toilets needing extra attention. Whoever the cleaners are, they need to be trained in how to actually clean.
The food wasn't too bad to be fair,, typical standard for these type of pubs.
A complaint I did raise with the waitress, was the ridiculous size of the 'crispy prawns' starter, 4 pathetic breaded prawns and a pot of chilli mayo, for price of that, there is no way you should only be serving 4,terrible value for money. The mains were actually quite nice, with my burger being really nice.
I asked for our desserts (cheese cake with ice-cream) once we had finished our mains,we waited 40 minutes, before I went to the bar (no staff in sight) to ask again, the waitress/barmaid finally appeared and said she would go get them, we waited another 10 minutes, so I went to the bar, noone insight again, so I went to the kitchen doors and knocked on there, until she came out, and said she would get them now, they arrived not long after, we started eating, then realised that the ice-cream was missing from them all, I went back to the bar, to tell them, and a different barmaid, apologised and went and got it. We quickly ate up and left, as I had had enough, and was fed up with it all and wanted out of there. This, with also a child running about and screaming, so much so, I said in a loud voice, shut up, as the mother wasn't doing anything about it.
I will NOT be going back there ever, and will not go to a Brewyers fair again. Absolute awful experience!
