  The store is fine but there is ALWAYS a disgusting smell or sewage at the back. Apparently they are close to a drain but there must be something that can be done about the awful smell.

  Unbelievably poor replacement for the previous store . Zero stars not available unfortunately. Everything is too expensive and the selection is an insult to the loyal Tesco customers. Basically avoid it and hope it dies to be replaced by another with improved selection and less expensive. It is clean; That's the best you can say, but that is a given, so wouldn't improve the star rating.

  The new Tesco Express which replaced the larger store which was closed, has about a quarter of the lines and a 25%-ish increase in cost on what is left. For all the town planning policies and procedures facilitated by the council we now have a town of approx. 37thousand, and rising, inhabitants and no supermarket in the centre but about 5 supermarkets out of town. How can this be, it all seems so deliberate, something is wrong, the planning hasn't worked. To top it off people are discouraged to even come into town because of car parking costs. This situation is very sad for Chippenham and all the residents.

  Layed off a load off poor workers by moving to a smaller location that's not even half the size and only has self service from what I have seen and some people especially older people arnt able to use them

  Its fine, the one in emery gate was tones better, but for an express store its actually pretty big. Prices are higher and i don’t know why they are putting a costa express in when there us on up the road.
