  Was actually suited for what we wanted a chilled beer and a bit of time together but nothing to fancy .

  Scrambled egg & baked beans had too much liquid, very sloppy, most if the breakfast cooked ok, except the black pudding which was over cooked & the half tomatoes were nearly uncooked. By the time you get your drink made, do some toast after waiting your turn, that by the time you get to select the breakfast, is cold, the food itself honestly needed at least 90+ seconds in a microwave as most was only tepid under the serving lamps, & by the time you've got to your table the whole lots isn't that hot. Not the worst cooked breakfast I've ever had, as that one was on fathers day 2 years ago at the same brewers Fayre, & this visit was to see if they'd improved. You decide.

  Awful run down pub. Staff are friendly but the food is awful with a long wait time. The smothered chicken is always burnt where it's been left on the grill for too long. No check backs. The toilets were in a state. No toilet cleaning log. It's closing down at the end of the year. Avoid.

  Had fish was very soggy batter, the fish was ok its self, but 13.49 was not worth it in the slightest. The manager done the standard satisfactory check. I was Hines and said it was ok! Sarcastically. He said im a flippant voice pub food yea. And just walked away. I could only laugh. To think he was the manager was beyond a joke. Clearly has no idea about customer service. Cooks are poorly educated. All in all very poorly managed. You don’t use batter mix straight from the fridge. I would avoid this place im glad it closing down as I won’t be using it again unless I have major discount and order something a bit more simple!

  If you have received an email (like the photo) advertising £5.99 mains for Bank Holiday Monday might be worth noting that I visited on the last Bank Holiday Monday hoping to take advantage of the same promotion, only to be told upon ordering that the offer was “at the manager’s discretion” and would not be honoured at that branch. This was frustrating, and I suspect others may encounter the same issue again over the upcoming Bank Holiday. It’s particularly disappointing because this used to be one of our favourite affordable family destinations. It has always been a great place for children and known for offering good value for money. However, over our last few visits, the overall experience has noticeably declined. Portion sizes seem smaller, the food quality is not as good as it once was, and it no longer feels like the value-for-money venue it used to be.
