- LMLeroy MuirAug 6, 20265.0Very well stocked shop that has everything you would expect from a large Co-op store . extremely well located for a short detour off the main A82 at Balloch. i cant vouch for all the staff but the lady who served me was extremely friendly and cheerful. Very large car park with no restrictions noted so i then went for a wander around the slate mine that is easily accessed direct from the car park; Established in 1692 and closed in 1955, it was once a noted producer of roof slates for Edinburgh, Glasgow, and beyond.

Tills are never manned anymore, just a cluster of card only self serves, otherwise cash payers have to use the tobacco kiosk counter in the corner. Lots of notices on the community board, and there’s also a used book exchange. Fits in well with the local area/community, a nice store.
