I used the fuel station on Saturday lunchtime, approximately half the pumps weren't available for Unleaded or Super Unleaded, the later of which my motorcycle uses. I particularly chose a 'pay at pump' lane as it speeds my time refueling and the need to remove my crash helmet. After a long delay, the pump indicated that 'pay at pump' wasn't available, so I filled up and went to pay in the kiosk. On entering I was told to take my crash helmet off, which I did, the helmet I was wearing does cover a good portion of my face. However, my companion was wearing a helmet that doesn't cover the face, but was also told to remove his helmet. Is this a local policy of this particular Tesco 'station or the staff on duty at the time, presumably they as everyone with a head covering to remove it, or is it just motorcyclists, I'd love to know?!

The 5 stars goes to a lovely member of staff called Judy , she went above and beyond very polite and helpful .. The store opens at 6am brilliant BUT after filling a big trolley and wanting to pay just after 7 find out no main till open, after asking another member of staff bout main till just says not open !! Then Judy approached I looked at her and said is there no one can serve me , with that she said come with me I can do that if paying by card ..it wasn’t a small shop had Judy not been around the store would have lost out and had a lot of shopping to put back … Thank you Judy once again and keep smiling and being helpful .
