  Best coffee I’ve had in the UK (I’m Aussie and we have high standards lol). The server allowed me to change the glass it served in and then remembered the next day. Food was delicious! Definitely will return!

  Esquire’s Coffee – Newbury 21 Northbrook St, Newbury RG14 1DJ From the outside, Esquires Coffee immediately feels inviting, with a welcoming atmosphere that continues throughout the coffee house. Walking inside, it is clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone into the layout and overall ambience. The space has a warm, cosy and comfortable feel, making it an enjoyable place to sit and take in the surroundings. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive. When I asked where the coffee originated, the initial answer wasn’t known, but rather than simply leaving it there, Mila took the time to find out which roastery they use and the countries represented in the blend. I really appreciated this. As a coffee connoisseur, knowing the origin and finer details of the coffee is an important part of fully appreciating what is in the cup. The blend includes coffee from: Honduras Ethiopia Brazil Peru Vietnam The coffee also offers very good value, with a generous serving size for the price. The Americano was particularly interesting. With five origins coming together, it creates a real flow of flavour. Each origin seems to contribute something different, creating a distinctive and original tasting experience, with clear flavour notes developing through to the finish. They also offer seasonal drinks and food options, including cinnamon-inspired drinks and loaded brioche, giving customers something beyond the standard café selection. What stood out most was the attentiveness of the staff. Rather than simply allowing customers to choose the most basic option, they actively pointed out other choices and helped highlight what was available. That creates a much more customer-focused experience and shows genuine care in helping customers get the most from their visit. Coffee: 10/10 Service: 12/10 Overall, Esquires Coffee is a warm, welcoming and inviting coffee house, with a distinctive blend that offers plenty of flavour and character.
