  Everyone who works in this store is friendly, welcoming and extremely fantastic at what they do. Such teamwork. Always keep the store stocked and clean. And have to contend with some very poorly behaved customers on a regular basis. Well done to all the employees at this store 👏👏 We appreciate you! 🫶🙌🥰🫵

  👎 Tesco Branch Staff: Outdated Policies & Zero Customer EmpathyI am extremely disappointed with my experience here late at night. After a long shift, I cycled a considerable distance in cold, rainy weather, wearing my work clothes, just to get some food for dinner and a Red Bull. I arrived completely drenched and shivering. At the checkout, the cashier asked for ID. I presented my clear, valid UK Provisional Driving Licence digitally on my phone. The cashier completely refused it, snatched the drink back, and stubbornly insisted on physical cards only.This refusal completely ignores the established legal framework for age verification in the UK. Under Section 19A of the Licensing Act 2003, in conjunction with Paragraph 3 of the Schedule to the Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010 (and its subsequent amendments, including SI 2014/2440), businesses are required to have a robust age verification policy. Furthermore, with the passing of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 and the latest Licensing Act (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) (Amendment) Order, the UK government has formally approved certified digital identity verification services (DVS) for age-restricted sales.Tesco management seriously and urgently needs to train their staff much better. Tesco must explicitly teach its employees that we no longer live in the past—we live in a digital age where digital documents are legally recognized. Stubbornly rejecting a valid digital ID from an exhausted, freezing worker shows a desperate need for modern customer care training. Tesco, update your training program immediately to teach your staff basic empathy and align them with the modern world!

  Really kind staff, one of them bought me a drink when I was short on money and checked if I was okay. Lovely person other than that good store could lower prices a bit
