- NBNexhmi BeqiriJul 19, 20261.0I was excited to visit new Gregs. I went there this morning around 8:40am with my friend. I did order chicken bake. Unfortunately it was very cold. I think it was from yesterday. I did tell them. When asked them if any of their bakes was hot, the answer was no. Terrible. At the moment I am having a bit of problem with my stomach. I am taking natural yoghurt. For a big company like Greg’s this isn’t good. I will never go there again.

The staff don’t seem to be interested in customer service and their knowledge of Greggs Deals. It’s a small shop and it felt disorganised behind the counter. Despite 3 workers in there the service was rather slow and the coordination was questionable. During the lunch break the queue grew but the pace of serving food and drinks did not get any faster. Also without sounding picky, a hot chocolate was poured over ice and then topped with milk at the end. The hot chocolate coffee and milk mixture separated itself xD and the water was floating on top and you were able to see a segregation of these ingredients 😅 this was supposed to be an iced mocha . I love Greggs but I’ve visited lovely ones before and this doesn’t come close to them. No offence it was the heat week maybe it was just the heat 🤔.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
