  Lara was an amazing host and very attentive, very clear when speaking to us and also very kind. Was always there before we needed anything. Food so so amazing we had the three course and it was very worth the price and also the drinks from the bar were mixed amazingly. We will be coming back again soon and can’t wait!

  So I visited Ask Italian today for the first time. The lady who took us to our table and took our orders was lovely - could not fault her one bit, very friendly and polite. My friend and I noticed one of the other waiters shoe laces was undone and we were conscious who could trip baring in mind he was carrying peoples drinks/food to them. We notified him of his shoe lace being undone. He grunted and walked over to colleague who he must have told and raised his eyebrows at his mate at his colleague. We then asked for the bill where I found him very abrupt and didn’t have the best manners. He was telling my friend to ‘tap tap tap’ onto the contactless part. I didn’t like his attitude one bit. I won’t be rushing back there. Food was ok, and the girl who dealt with us to begin with was lovely.

  Delicious food! We were in need of a carb fix and both pasta dishes were super tasty. We were so well looked after by Nyjah and Sophia, warmly welcomed and very attentive. Looking forward to returning in the future!

  Booked in advance and stated I wanted to use Tesco vouchers as payment for the food on the 16th May 2026. I was notified from Ask Italian that there was no sporting events on that date and the booking was accepted. I received a text on the day asking if we would still attend I replied yes, five minutes before the agreed time I had a message that the vouchers would not be accepted. My complaint is that I should have been informed at the time of booking so alternate arrangements could have been made.

  We visited as a group of 11 to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We were seated upstairs near the toilets, and partway through our visit, water began dripping onto three members of our group. The manager was called and seemed surprised, claiming it had never happened before. However, this was hard to believe given the visible staining on the ceiling and the plaster coming away. We were quickly moved to another table, this was not suitable as our party had to be split up then had to wait over an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, four meals had to be sent back because they were cold. Despite the disruption and inconvenience, no discount or gesture of goodwill was offered. We were also left unsure about what the liquid dripping on us actually was, as it wasn’t raining and didn’t appear to be from air conditioning. On a positive note, the waiter was polite and my daughter did receive a complimentary drink for her birthday. However, overall the experience was poor and not what we had hoped for on such a special occasion.
