  I've not visited this branch of the Scottish Restaurant before. No surprises really. It's really just a drive through version of McDonald's as it's not near anything in particular. Sad to say that McDonald's have done away with the 'Food for thoughts' cheap deals that meant you could get a Big Mac and fries for £2.99 or a very nice Quarter Pounder with cheese. Now the emphasis is on 'daily deals' or extra free stuff if you spend a certain amount. Given that the price or cost of a burger, fries and a drink is in excess of £5 and much more if you purchase a large or limited edition burger, it's not very good value anymore. I liked a £2.99 treat once a week but I'm not buying into these new gimmicks. I'll stick to coffee and the occasional cheeseburger. First you take away the breakfast, then the Sundaes went and now you've removed the best deal that was ever available. I'm very disappointed.

  Spotless restaurant, warm staff, and lightning-fast service. The kitchen team delivered piping hot, fresh food with impressive, seamless efficiency.

  I mean it is a mcdonals so its never going to be high reviews. But the queues for the drive through are always (whenever we have been there) so long. Never feels like fast food lol. The request to have altered condiments has been wrong more than right. I'd say you get what you pay for but it's so expensive these past few years. Cheaper to buy and cook your own burgers and chips. Granted not always possible when you have extreamly fussy children. But for adults I'd give it a hard pass. The one on culvert house cross is far more efficient

  There is no go about the staff so expect to wait a long time. The feminine hygiene bins are overflowing so there are pads all through the cubicle which is a biohazard and it would not surprise me if people flush theirs which will cause plumbing issues. The mcmuffins had packaging in them so they were inedible. It was a very poor experience.

  This is the 3rd time at the Barry Macdonald's I have not had my take away order in full. I have the same thing. Sweet chili chicken wrap meal with 2 doughnuts . This is the 3rd time only one has been put in. I have tried ringing to let Macdonald's know and no one answers . I'm 77 yrs of age and I know a doughnut doesn't cost that much. The first time I thought it's only a doughnut. 2nd time I rang a couple of times. No one answered. But for the 3rd time that's not funny. Adds up to over £6. Either someone's not paying attention to the order or someone's pinching. Oh dont think I'll be going to Barry Macdonald's again and shall say to people check your order before leaving the window. This will cause a wait for people in the queue but otherwise it's better than being out of pocket. Bye bye Macdonalds
