- AAAlilAug 29, 20261.0i was served by the ‘manager’ and she was very dismissive to the staff on shift as well as the customers. a few kid customers bought some bakes and sat down then she proceeded to kick them out over “not paying to sit in” and started slamming doors as if she owned the place. other staff members are lovely but the manager needs to be fired.

This is very unprofessional. I go there at least once a week and when I ask where certain staff members are the reply is always they left due to the manager. This is definitely not the greggs way or any other business structure. In future I will visit a different greggs store where I can still get my sausage roll but without listening to a rude unprofessional manager

On my visit, my rewards didn’t come off, even though the app said otherwise. Whilst there may be a good explanation for this I found the man behind the till quite dismissive. I wasn’t annoyed that my rewards weren’t applied, but more that there was no explanation of what the issue could be. Rather I was just told “the price is the same” repeatedly to spite no argument from my side.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
