  ROKA delivered an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant yet sophisticated, with an open robata grill adding energy and excitement to the restaurant. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with bold, perfectly balanced flavours. The food was outstanding — fresh, smoky, rich, and incredibly refined. The black cod dumplings melted in the mouth with its buttery texture and delicate sweetness, had that perfect charred flavour that made every bite unforgettable. The cocktails were equally impressive and complemented the food perfectly. Creative, smooth, and expertly crafted, each drink had its own unique twist with fresh ingredients and balanced flavours. From refreshing citrus notes to deeper smoky and spicy combinations, the cocktail menu elevated the entire experience. What stood out most was the consistency in quality, service, and attention to detail. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations throughout the evening. ROKA is the kind of place that turns dinner into an experience — stylish, energetic, and absolutely unforgettable.   The food was great but the service was a little slow in terms of getting the servers attention. It took us over 10 minutes to get someone to notice us so they could take the order. Beside it being too busy that it took a while, the servers were all friendly and nice!

  The miso soup was absolutely outstanding, rich in flavour and one of the best we’ve had. The rice was honestly the best rice I’ve ever eaten — perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The shrimp tempura was also perfectly done, light, crisp, and delicious. The octopus was a little fatty for our taste, but everything else was excellent. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. We sat at the chef’s tables, which was a fun experience, although the seating was a bit crowded and close together. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere.

  We had a fantastic evening at ROKA Canary Wharf. The setting is stylish without feeling too formal, and there’s a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The food was exceptional. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The robata grill really stands out, and it’s great being able to try a few different plates and share. Service was just as impressive. The team were attentive, friendly, and knew the menu inside out, offering great recommendations and making sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Overall, a brilliant experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be returning.
