We’re best known for our iconic bakes, fresh sandwiches, delicious hot drinks and sweet treats. Over eighty years ago, John Gregg started out with one goal: to deliver (by pushbike) fresh eggs and yeast to the families of Newcastle. Ten years later, he chained up his bike and opened Greggs of Gosforth.
Since then, we’ve opened more and more shops and have become something of a Nation’s sweetheart. Our menu has also changed with the nation’s taste. Long-standing Greggs fans among us may even remember the olden days before the hotly debated Vegan Roll, or our refreshing iced drinks.
Whether you’re into a hot sandwich, a pasta salad, some delicious chicken goujons or a fresh cold sandwich – our meal deals are doing the most in a mouth-watering way. Bundle on whichever side takes your fancy. We’re talking crispy Southern Fried Potato Wedges, a classic bag of crisps, protein-packed egg pots, fruit pots or creamy yoghurt. Plus, grab a drink to top it all off. From a classic Latte or a Mocha to a Raspberry Lemonade or a crisp Iced Mango & Strawberry Cooler – it’s yours.
Pre-order on Click + Collect to skip the queue like a VIP, or get what you want delivered to your door via Just Eat or Uber Eats.
Whichever way you have it - there’s definitely one thing better than a Greggs – and that’s a FREE Greggs. The Greggs App has never been tastier. Packed full of seriously stomach-rumbling news, rewards and ways to order – it really is the inner circle for all things yummy. Plus, it’s a sure-fire way to bag some free treats - and who doesn’t love a free treat?

Greggs
Rontec Chellow Heights Service Station Haworth Rd, Bradford,
It was very mixed. Whilst the service was quick and the staff were quite nice. Food was, however, different. Magharita pizza was hot and fresh while the vegetable & cheese onion pasty were a bit cold. Ofc there is no seating inside so i had to eat in my car but still.

Awful customer service. Had reserved and paid for a too good to go bag more than 24 hours in advance, turned up within the pick up window to be told they weren't doing bags for another 30 minutes in which case my pick up window would be closed? Lady on the till was very rude.

Seriously, the worst Greggs I've ever experienced, check this out... 5 pasties ordered in total, the lady worker told everyone they could have it in 1min, hot & fresh. But there were only 3 pasties. 2 people got theirs, however a woman ordered 2 but was only given 1, so she kindly gave it to me saying she will wait for the next batch (btw is a HUGE inconvenience for her as it takes 15mins, but what can she do now if 1 is ready and the other'll take 15mins, that one ready would get cold) i kid you not the lady worker tried to take it back off me even though i already paid for 1. VERY bad customer service and even worse food quality. Staff should be sacked and hire whole new crew.
Opening times for all Greggs shops can be found on our Shop Finder. Just enter your location into the search bar to find opening times, contact details and available facilities.
What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
We’re no longer taking new applications for end-of-day food donation partners, but we continue to identify regions where our shops could support a local charitable collection. To find out more or nominate an organisation visit: https://www.greggsfoundation.org.uk/unsold-food-donations.
Why do you have different prices regionally?
It is very common for retailers to have regional prices. This is because the costs of running a business can vary across different parts of the country and in certain locations, for example rent costs. We always keep our prices as low as possible for our customers.
