  Staff cannot be bothered to help or guide customers where items are and this has happened a number of occasions, very bad customer service

  Disappointed by inappropriate and judgmental staff behavior I had a deeply uncomfortable experience at this store. While making a purchase, a staff member named Olivia made comments questioning my personal choices based on my attire as a Muslim. I found these remarks intrusive, inappropriate, and offensive. As a customer, I felt stereotyped and uncomfortable by this interaction. Tesco states that it values diversity and inclusion, and I was disappointed that my experience did not reflect those values. I hope management will address this matter and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or appearance.

  I do not require a response or any compensation from the business. I am writing this review solely to share my experience and to make other customers aware of my interaction with a staff member named Olivia. I will not go into the details of the incident, but I found Olivia’s behaviour to be unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. Throughout the interaction, I felt she was more interested in escalating the situation than resolving it. She even told me that I was free to complain about her at any time, which I found surprising and inappropriate. When the situation escalated, I felt that her attitude changed completely and that she presented herself as the victim, despite her earlier conduct. This was particularly disappointing to witness. I genuinely felt sorry for the manager, who was brought into the situation and had to spend valuable time resolving an issue that, in my opinion, could have been avoided. The manager handled the matter professionally and remained calm throughout. Based on my experience, I would urge the business to address this member of staff’s conduct, as I believe it reflects poorly on the customer experience.
