  If there was an Olympic event for being an absolute legend, the little man who I think is called JAKE would take home the gold medal, the silver medal, the bronze medal , and probably somehow the trophy as well. I've genuinely started to wonder if JAKE is secretly running the entire shop all by himself. Every time I walk into tesco, he's always there with his cute smile, a joke and somehow enough energy to power the entire shop for weeks! I'm beginning to suspect he doesn't actually sleep and instead recharges by his wonderful quality customer service skills and by makung people smile. The service JAKE provides is second to none. Need help with something? JAKE is already halfway through helping you before you've finished asking the question. Lost? JAKE knows where everything is. Having a bad day? JAKE will forget why you were feeling annoyed in the first place. This lovely young fella deserves a pay rise, a statue in the shop and possibly his own national holiday. Future historians will study his customer service techniques and wonder how one person could be so consistently helpful, friendly and funny. Scientists should probably examine him because I'm not convinced he's operating at normal human levels. In summary, if tesco ever loses JAKE, they should immediately begin a nationwide search, beacuse replacing him would probably require at least three employees, a comedian, a motivational speaker and a customer service expert working full time, together. 10/10. Five stars. Outstanding. THE GOAT. PROTECT THIS LITTLE MAN AT ALL COSTS.

  staff, especially the security guard is lovely. however they need to get rid of whoosh (or whatever it is that makes the store so slow) the staff seem stressed and its a painstaking process for us have to allow myself at least 20 mins to go in there if i have plans, and im usually grabbing one item. theres a job crisis in the uk however nowhere seems to be adequately staffed.

  The staff are great. The layout is good. The massive downside and everyone is speak to says the same. Sort the self serv tills out. NO CASH??????? That's why your queues are up by the freezers switch one or two self serv to cash and card and the whole dynamic would change. Ive lost count of the times I've walked out and seen others walk out due to slow tills and now cash on the self serv. Ridiculous. Actually makes shopping in tesco a unpleasant. Perhaps the store manager needs to listen to the countless people that have said it to him
