Nice local shop, have been coming here for over 15 years and the shop has evolved. The staff are under a lot of pressure constantly because of petty thieves & shop lifters. Another local shop opposite (Co-op) closed down because of these issues some months ago. Some caution needs to be in place and tight security is required too. One can generally find basic things for breakfast & a quick dinner or drinks with friends. They also send their leftovers to a charity- Olio which is very helpful. Staff are helpful & pleasant always except when shop lifters come into the shop and they have to protect their store.

Not good a woman decided to warn me and ban me from there because I did something wrong and she has a bad attitude. She’s the manager whatever you do don’t engage in heated conversation with her she just talks to people in a rude and disrespectful manner. I wouldn’t recommend making complaints to talk to the manager either. She isn’t very polite and spoke to me today like I was some sort of idiot. When I’m not. Trust me lakeside is a lot better than here that’s for sure. Used to like this branch but due to her unprofessionalism don’t ever go near her.
