  I’m not one for writing reviews, but I had to write this one. Today, I encountered a male staff member, tall build, wearing white trainers. I was trying to get one of the reusable bags and he bluntly said “you can’t get one from the back”, his tone was awful and unnecessary. I don’t know if he was having an off day but that’s no excuse to talk to customers like that, especially someone who is neurodivergent and struggles with anxiety. There’s absolutely no need for that at all. As a result, I will avoid shopping here unless I have no other option. And I strongly urge others to do the same. There are plenty of reviews on here about the poor customer service, and it seems like management are doing nothing about this. I have been to other Tescos and I have never had a bad experience there. Also, I’d like to point out that I work in retail myself, and have been for a number of years. I would never talk to customers like that at all. Point being, if you don’t like working with people and the general public, don’t work with them. 🤷🏽‍♀️

  My misses brought a black toaster used it once and its broke unfortunately she threw box and reciet away otherwise it would of gone back

  Having lived in the area for over a year, I originally chose this supermarket because it’s convenient and close to other shops in Madeley. Unfortunately, over that time I’ve experienced consistently poor customer service and an overall disappointing shopping experience. From being approached by beggars outside the store, to encountering rude and unhelpful staff, there always seems to be some issue. On several occasions I’ve been left wondering whether customer service is even a priority here. Today’s visit was by far the worst. The lack of staffed checkouts resulted in unnecessary queues and frustration. I was even told by a member of staff that fewer tills are opened to encourage customers to use the self-service checkouts instead. Whether that’s official policy or not, it certainly feels as though customer convenience is no longer the priority. The overall impression is that the store simply doesn’t care about providing a good customer experience. Sadly, I now avoid shopping here whenever possible and would recommend others consider the alternatives in the area
