- MLMatt LJul 8, 20262.0I'll preface this by saying that I worked for a supermarket for 10 years. I get working in a customer facing environment on a bad day can be hell. I've had my bad days, had nasty customers but I always tried to take pride in my work and be professional. But the staff who work here, especially some of the younger ones are absolutely awful. I pop in 3-4 times a week. Here's some of the encounters I've had or witnessed. Guy asking a young girl near the meal-deals fridge if she knew where an item was. She rolled her eyes and started speaking on her microphone about if one more customer asks her something todays she's about to flip. The customer was literally with her. I asked a guy if I could move his roller from in front of a fridge door so i could get in. He was visibly annoyed and moved it about an inch. So I said mate I still can't get in so he slams the roller away against another and storms off. The other two colleagues with him stare at me and start giggling doing nothing to help. Staff appear to be in fancy dress half the time. Staff on self service with headphones in so they can't hear you / pretend not to see you. Only bonus is usually everything I need is in stock. But I'll no longer be coming here as I don't have the strength to walk on egg shells as I go up and down the isles.

I've reported this numerous times to head office and nothing gets done. I can understand why half the staff look miserable. I've been to other stores and the staff are always friendly and have time to talk and help you.
