Worst EVER experience in a restaurant. Had ma reservation, arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time. We were not greeted when we arrived. The restaurant was not busy, servers were around & saw us waiting to be seated. Signs up informing patrons that due to recent walk outs payment was required upfront. After waiting 5 minutes, we were seated, Drinks order taken & manager took Dietary order, drinks arrived, then more drinks arrived & given to us, did not ask if we wanted the extra drinks just gave them to us “as they’d be poured down the drain”. 30 minutes after arrival, dietary starter eventually arrived cool & not properly cooked, delivered by manager, 10 minutes later manager passed out table to seat other guests & noticed our table only had the one starter, few more minutes passed with servers standing around by kitchen on phones & carrying sharp knife through main restaurant with no regard for customers or children. Second starter arrived stone cold & stale (nacho’s). 20 minutes later after napkins had been sat on the starter plates indicating they were not being eaten & our table had been passed many times by different servers. (We had been ignored by each & every one of them) & (other patrons had been seated & been given their main meals). Eventually the manager appeared with the dietary main & a steak knife (no fork), by this time we had been in the restaurant 50 minutes. Another 10 minute wait & the regular main hadn’t arrived, still no acknowledgment from anyone & we had had enough. We had been in the restaurant for 65 minutes & left, telling the manager on the way out exactly why we were leaving & why we were not paying, (despite the signs we had not been asked to pay upfront, yet we saw others asked to do so). We chose TGI Fridays because we like their food & never had an issue before. This has ruined it. It was by far the worst experience we have ever had in any restaurant.

Left hungry and annoyed. Sat immediately, took 15 minutes for anyone to get us drinks or take an order (we had to ask). Food took 45 minutes to arrive without explanation. Fajitas were £25, so I was expecting something special/filling (it really wasn't- not much meat, and quite fatty). No guac, not told until it arrived. Tiny salsa pot and when asked if I could get some extra salsa, told I'd be charged by the first waitress, until i pointed out the lack of guac to the barman who then came back with Salsa. We did get refill drinks but had to ask all bar 1 time for a top up. Overall, £50+ for 2 "mains" and a couple of soft drinks. Pretty poor value and got a mackies after to fill the void. Wings and chips was the alternate main which was fine...but £20. Can't say I'd be back. Friendly enough staff but a bit naff all round.
