Nestled in the heart of Heatherside, The Wheatsheaf is a Grade II listed pub, built in 1971 by renowned designers John and Sylvia Reid. Its distinctive ratchet-wheel architecture and cosy interior snugs make it one of the most unique pubs in Surrey. The pub was named after the wheatsheaf crest of Sir Henry Goldney, whose family once owned the land it stands on.
Great time this weekend, pub was packed and the atmosphere was fantastic, garden space is huge too!

Went on Sunday 25/5/26, place was packed and the staff severely overwhelmed and understaffed! Food took more than an hour and half to serve! I had the beef pie, which was obviously frozen pre-made and other half had chicken. Both dishes were meh, very average, eatable if you’re starving. Place is excellent location with plenty of outdoor space and a playground just across for the kids to play.

This was our first time going here for a Mother’s Day lunch and we will definitely be going back. Only negative was the wait for puddings but the staff were all very nice and kept us informed and apologised. But they were worth the wait!! Would highly recommend
