Called in to tesco for shopping, said to my partner look at all the fresh bread lovely, changed my mind bread not in packets, you have to pick up the bread and put it in a bag yourself, bread was rock hard. No wonder there was plenty left, also not very hygienic left out in the open all day.

This place is becoming a shining beacon of how to make the customer experience as hard and annoying as possible.
The introduction of glass outward opening fridge doors are having an impact on the time it takes to select your food. This is due to people standing Infront while looking, at the same time their trolley is block adjacent fridges so those doors cannot be open, or if the trolley is beside them the aisle is blocked preventing passage down the aisle.
Alcohol is also caged behind glass door, like wild animals in a zoo, however these have a time delayed lock preventing spontaneous selectin of you favourite poison. When you get into the shelves the bottles are then encased in steel wire net, this most be to emphasise the danger leaking inside the bottle.
Then when you pay you scan your own products, have you photograph taken in the screen in front of you, a bit like being on the fun park rollercoaster but without the fun.
Inevitably something you bought will need authorisation and releasing from it's shackles (apparently Joe Public hasn't the intelligence to do this for themselves yet), so you have to stand waiting for 10 minutes while what little staff still work there have a conversation about their night out at the bingo!!!
The problem is, this is the only convenient store, Tesco legally block the construction of a rival store, so we are stuck with it.
One day I'm hoping I will be invited to their Christmas staff party?

I had an unfair and disappointing experience with staff at this Tesco. I bought a shaving machine a few days ago, but it does not work properly. I returned with the receipt and requested a refund, which was refused. I explained my consumer rights and even showed them Tesco’s own returns policy, but this was ignored. Despite clearly meeting the return conditions, the refund was still denied. I will be escalating this to the Ombudsman. It’s disappointing that staff unfair behaviour has made go through this unnecessary process
