  6 of us went to celebrate Fathers Day Table service, all staff friendly and helpful. Sam helped with the bill at the end, we had a discount code. 3 steak and ale pies and 3 Sunday lunches ordered. All food piping hot and enjoyed by all. 4 puddings also enjoyed. Sadly shutting down on 12/7/26

  They closed the kitchen early. We tried to order food at 7:55 on a Friday but were given to understand the kitchen had been closed for some time.

  Didnt eat on this visit but the staff are so friendly and polite. They go the extra mile to keep the customer happy. The beers great too

  Absolute disappointment, ordered starters and mains, and waited half an hour for them to have our mains served, we asked where our starters were and they had no clue so went to check, chap came back and said “oh the waitress didn’t put them through” however they would prepare the starters whilst we ate our mains, if we wanted mains before starters we would have asked for desserts to be served before our main meal. Waitress looked around 12 years old - long blonde hair with glasses, couldn’t care for her attitude either. Service was slow for an empty pub and the delay in paying the bill at the bar was even longer - waitresses too busy flirting with male customers. £££ down the drain for abysmal food and service.
