Food is absolutely top notch. Good value. Atmosphere is great and the landlord is a really nice guy. Brilliant pub and I hope it does well as it deserves to. Brought my friends from London to visit and they loved this place.

Went for lunch with friends on 22.6.26,the service staff were lovely, food was good, however, lady behind the bar was very rude, didn't smile, and kept forgetting what we had ordered. Also same lady cleared our table whilst we were still eating, not the done thing, will come back, but hope she isn't there.

The Horns Inn in Slitting Mill, Rugeley is such a lovely find — a proper countryside pub with its own waterfall and stream running through the garden.
No strenuous hiking needed; you can sit, relax, listen to the water, and enjoy something to eat or drink. Perfect for days when you want nature but need to take it slow. 🚶♀️💨

Just came in during a very busy period. Was told maybe up to 45 minite wait. Fpod arrived in 20. Service is exceptional and the food is absolutely spot on. Not exactly expensive either vs your average tatty marstons pub menus.
Highly reccommend and definately eating here from now on as its one of few pubs in the area that has a different and decent menu.
The big corperation owned pubs by marstons all have the same menu round here.
If you want quality and tasty food, come to the horns!!
