  Got my order wrong and when I phoned to inform them of this mistake I was given the offer of a complimentary dip!? Shocking customer service. Ordering takeaway is very rare for us but I can assure you I will not be ordering from Papa John's Longton again. Terrible, don't bother!

  We got the free pizza deal, really disappointing experience. He gave me a 9.5-inch pizza, while my friend was given a 7-inch pizza even though we ordered the same deal. When my friend asked the worker why he hadn’t received the same size pizza as I had, instead of simply explaining the situation, the worker called him “stupid.” There is absolutely no excuse for speaking to a customer like that, especially when they are asking a perfectly reasonable question about their order. He also claimed that he gave me the extra dough because “he wanted to”. If there was a genuine reason why my friend received a smaller pizza, the worker could have explained it professionally and respectfully. Being spoken to like that when you’ve done nothing wrong is completely unacceptable. The attitude was rude, unnecessary and totally out of order. Staff should be able to deal with straightforward customer questions without insulting people. I certainly won’t be recommending this place after that experience. Customers deserve basic respect and courtesy, and calling someone “stupid” for asking about their order is simply not acceptable.

  Guy at the counter mistakenly gave my friends the wrong sized pizza, they went back in to complain and he held his ground refusing to correct the order, so they complained that whatever deal they got was dumb if he wasn’t going to give them the right order, to which he responded calling him stupid and walked into the back without apologising, shame on you
