- ALAimee Langham2 days ago3.0This was overall a great pub, the staff were friendly and it had a good atmosphere. The only downside was the smell from the kitchen. We sit near to the opening/hatch to the kitchen as it was the only table available for the size of our group (8 adults). They weren't cooking bit the smell of cabbage was very very strong. Every time there was a draft it blew the smell right in to our faces. Almost made me gag. So I advise any visiting not to sit near the hatch. I would visit here again but sit somewhere else. They do have offers on some ciders, thatchers was £14 for 4 bottles which I think is decent.
