  Absolute worst McDonald's I've ever been to, with the most rude and unprofessional staff and manger I have ever seen. Zero care of whether your or you children meals are, warm, correct or even edible with the poor knowledge of basic hygiene shown behind the counter

  Firstly I want to talk about an issue I have seen ever growing in our social lives and the effect it has to me, my friends, family and society as a whole. About nine months ago I developed and now suffer from Hyperacusis, It's an ear condition, basically I could hear a pin drop in a disco and it's painful to boot. With god knows how many of the population playing loud social media videos, music and taking loud phone/video calls in public has caused me social anxiety and outright pain. This needs to be quashed by staff, in dinners, shops, public transport, hospitals, etc. Even without my ear condition I find it to be rude and inconsiderate and downright anti-social behaviour. No matter the dinner, this is plaguing our society and this happens in every Mcdonalds I visit too. Staff need to grow a back bone and stop this behaviour. I have ear protection and yet the noise level is too great. My visit to this particular store yesterday was a tipping point for myself. It's a school holiday, so it's loud than usual, with kids screaming and what not, those noises don't effect me. It's the digital noises from devices that hit a certain frequency that cause me pain and mental distress. Those mixed with the kids noise and people shouting orders all amalgamate into a nightmare. It doesn't help that nearly every parent glues a screen in front of their kids head to stop them from behaving, well, like kids. I specifically asked for my burger to have no onions and when I got my order I found trace amounts of onions on their, so I sent it back. I look around the restaurant and people are mindlessly consuming their food and watching nonsensical TikTok videos or whatever social media platform of their choice. Surely they can't be tasting/ enjoying their food. Atmosphere is very poor. I stormed out in disgust and distress, leaving my food behind when a staff member sat next to us and took a loud speaker phone call, even though she had Earpods in her ears. Staff represent the business whether they're on or off the clock. My friend and family member quickly rushed out to me to console me and we found a quiet spot about a ten minute walk away and sat on a brick wall to eat our meal as not even outside the restaurant was safe. I am an old soul in a 40yr body whom has traditional values and has never jumped on the smart phone hypetrain and don't get the buzz from social media. I joined Facebook when it rolled out and a year later realized it wasn't keeping us connected, but doing the opposite, I deleted my account then as I prefer physical connections. Something needs to be done otherwise norm erosion will set in. Restaurants just aren't soundproofed for this sort of thing. The 'higher ups' need to consider how to tackle such consumer behaviour and even train their staff to not do such things otherwise people like me will develop Agrophobia. So if you're one of those people that are glued to a screen and playing obnoxious noises from whatever device you use, please consider those around you, the effect it may have and even on yourself. I believe an individual human shouldn't have everything at his/her fingertips. Overtime It makes us impatient, socially awkward, over inbulgent etc Prices are to high too.
