  If this restaurante is a cake, David's the manager is the cherry on top. Attention to the minor details that almost no one notices. Thank you, for sure will be coming back.

  We visited this Wagamama branch expecting the usual standard of service, as it has previously been one of our go-to places. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. One of my child’s meals, yaki soba, the same type of dish as the rest of ours arrived far later than everyone else’s food for no apparent reason. I mentioned this to the waiter but nothing was done to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the inconvenience. To make matters worse, our starter only arrived after we had already finished our mains and had to ask where it was. Even after waiting around for a long time, my other child’s food still had not arrived while the rest of us had completely finished eating. By this point, we had been waiting around for over an hour. I then asked to speak to the manager, hoping the situation would finally be handled professionally. Unfortunately, the manager — the gentleman with Rastafarian-style hair — was even more disappointing than the wait staff. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the poor service and no attempt to resolve the issue properly. I explained calmly that I understood dishes can arrive at slightly different times but waiting nearly an hour while everyone else had finished eating was unacceptable. His response was dismissive and unprofessional repeatedly saying, “yeah, it can come at different times, yeah, yeah, yeah,” which came across very aggressive and street like rather than listening or addressing the concern appropriately. The attitude and handling of the situation from both the waiter and manager were extremely rude and unprofessional throughout. Customer service is about communication, accountability and resolving issues properly, and none of that happened here. Not to forget to mention there were no cutlery, we had to grab it ourselves as waited too long to have some. They never asked us if everything was okay. We asked for the bill and waited around for so long, the waiter again clearly forgot. Nobody even bothered to ask him by we’re still there, could ask if we wanted dessert or remember to bring the bill- nothing. In the end, we had to use the QR code to pay even though we wanted to pay cash. This used to be one of our regular places to visit, but after this experience, we will avoid this branch in future and will be sharing our experience with others. A shame as the shorter black girl was an absolute sweetheart, had she served us rather than just sitting us- it would’ve been different.
