Smart, and well stocked with a REALLY good variety of 'specialty/novelty' treat/fancy on a whim items. 6 stars! Now a third of the shelves are empty. Prices are a mess. And it doesn't stock anything besides 4 non-varieties of the same'ol' boring staples that can wait until my big weekly Morrisons shop. Used to come here easy preference to onestop, now it's often amazingly even more boring. At one time it seemed like there were always people strolling into or out of back office who I don't recognise from out front, not in any kind of uniform, in the middle of a chin wag, oblivious of me as a customer, it was like I was invisible. Could be VERY wrong though. Seemed like that though. The vibe I get it that there will be some (not all) who exploit the fact that the shift manager is their mate, rather than respecting that the shift manager is their mate who needs a bit of extra help at busy times like after a stock delivery. Pure conjecture. All SUPER friendly polite and want to help front of house staff, without exception, at till, but I don't understand what's happened since Jan with stock.
