  A wonderful, welcoming and very friendly pub. John and Lynn have turned this pub into the destination for both the local community and for visitors to the area. I am a regular customer, and I love going to the weekly Pub Quiz (every Tuesday, from 19h30), hosted by Simone. Great fun, and always a one-off question list (no standardized event doing a pub circuit !). Great atmosphere, great food, drinks and service !!! Frederic Daubechies

  We are local and the food has had a massive improvement recently (especially weekday offering when it’s quieter), definitely worth checking out the new chef if you haven’t been for a while! Could be the foodie pub that Southfields really needs since Earl Spencer went off the boil a bit

  Popped in on a Tuesday evening for dinner. My friends and I had a delicious meal I had the 3 plates for £19. Really delicious choices. Nice drinks with a good range of wine and beers. Entered the pub quiz hosted by the lovely Simone. Had a great time. Will definitely go again.

  Visited with my mum and had a lovely experience overall. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, especially one young lady who genuinely did everything she could to help us throughout our visit. The food was tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately, service from the kitchen was very slow, and it felt like the team was struggling to keep up. Despite the staff’s best efforts, the waiting times for food were longer than expected. One small disappointment was the fried chicken strips. At £7.50, the portion felt very poor value for money as it consisted of only three small pieces of chicken. That said, the friendliness and professionalism of the front-of-house team really stood out and made a positive impression.
