My friends and I popped in for the pub quiz last week and we had so much fun! The staff were absolutely lovely, service was great and the atmosphere was fab. Big shoutout to the quiz master Frankie for being such a good host. Would really recommend!!

Lovely Sunday roast and wines in the beer garden. The staff were super friendly as were the locals. Food was great and excited to try the rest of the menu when we are next back as we have just moved into the area!
A lovely young lady called Non & a young man called Freddy were attentive, engaging and professional with their service. The food served by the kitchen was of excellent quality indeed. This pub I believe has a new landlord & landlady - so congrats to them for getting of to a great start. We shall be back !
Completely appalled by the service, the food was lovely (thankfully).
We booked a table of 6 (4 adults and 2 children who required highchairs) for a Sunday lunch.
The waitress was very abrupt when taking our order, we listed the starters we wanted and went onto mains & sides where she repeatedly said things like “wow that’s a lot of food”, “are you going to eat all of that”, “no dessert on this table I guess”. Which was extremely rude and essentially a form of fat shaming.
The starts came, food was great. Waitress the let us know the Korean burger that was ordered, wasn’t available and what else do we want (the menus had been taken away at this point) and it seemed like a chore for the waitress to get a menu again.
Mains came out and the waitress put a red hot plate in front of our 9m old son as there was no room on the table, because she never cleared the starter plates.
The extra Yorkshire pudding that was ordered, never arrived but we didn’t bother chasing it up.
For the record, all the food that was ordered, was eaten.
We then asked for the dessert menus and the waitress acted like she was absolutely shocked that we wanted to order more food and couldn’t believe it. Again, extremely rude.
We were waiting for the dessert to arrive and the waitress asked us to take our highchairs, we had to say no as both children need these and we were about to eat dessert. She seemed annoyed we refused to let her take the highchairs. 5 minutes later she asked us again to take the highchairs to which we said no again.
Dessert came, all good. Bill came and we had to ask to take the tip off (not something we ever do, but the service was shocking).
Once we left, she turned to another table and said “they’ve finally left and you can have a highchair”, again.. RUDE.
We’ve now also realised the £60 deposit we paid upon booking hasn’t been refunded and was never taken off the bill.

We were walk-ins but they managed to find a table for us on a busy Sunday. The service was really good.
Unfortunately, the beef Sunday roast was disappointing as the meat was very chewy. I had ordered the chicken, so we ended up sharing that instead. The chicken was much better, and the plate was very generous with plenty of sides. Everything else on the plate was tasty and well prepared.
Overall, good service and a pleasant experience, but the beef roast definitely let it down.
