PubPunch Taverns
Inside, our pub has everything you could wish for in a traditional village local, including freshly prepared food, a fine selection of cask ales, open wood burning fires, traditional flagstone flooring and wooden beams, and extensive wine list. We also have a private function room that can cater for anywhere between 10 and 40 guests.
Our outdoor seating areas are peaceful and relaxing, and you have a choice of seating, either overlooking the village green, where you can watch the world go by, or in our own colourful pub garden and patio area.

- TBTamar Bowley3 days ago5.0Excellent experience at the Red Lion Inn! All staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to engage in conversation. It was also lovely to have the choice of either sitting in the front or rear garden to eat our lunch. We chose the rear garden, and had a great table in the shade. Our meal was very enjoyable, full of flavour and didn't take long to arrive. The menu was also very interesting with different meals that you don't often expect on a pub selection. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again!

- SSSAug 2, 20265.0I had to visit a job here in Shamley Green and being that I’ve always just driven through it and never stop. I decided to here at the Red Loin, as I loved there phase ‘A proper pub’ I sat in the garden on my first visit for about 3 hours and enjoyed speaking with the staff and locals, All extremely welcoming. Upon leave I read the menu and the I have just had in my opinion an award winning Roast pork dinner. Best I had in a very long time. Thank you to everyone at the Red Loin and I will continue to come back for more.

The food and drinks matched… it’s not often you pop out to a pub and your can rate it 12 out of 10. Similarly the atmosphere was relaxed with a positive sunset evening vibe. It’s great to cycle there with the kids and they can play over the road on the cricket green, whilst you sit with the dog bathed in the sunset warm summer golden glow. Perfect.
