  I don't expect much from the Friary Street McDonald's, yet I am always surprised in the multitude of ways I can be disappointed. I ordered a small coke zero and a double cheeseburger, extra ketchup, no pickles. It's a Sunday afternoon, not that busy, takes around 5 minutes to come out. This store has a history of giving me wrong orders, so I go to check my burger. Full of pickles. So I take it back, ask for them to remake it. The staff member says he will, and apologises. He comes back, no more than a minute later, with a 'fresh' burger. I ask him if they've remade it, as the burger is lukewarm and is in the same wrapper. He says yes, it's all remade, we just reused the same wrapper. I reiterated that I cannot have pickles, and he affirmed that it had been remade. I left the store, trusting said employee, and go to sit down. Lo and behold, half way through eating the burger, the taste of pickle is there. I open up the burger, and there's a nice indent in the cheese where the pickles were. It's one thing to mess up an order, that's fine, it happens. But to blatantly lie to my face about remaking it. Do better. Terrible store.

  It's a bit too busy and therefore a bit too long of a wait, but the food is good for a maccies

  Very slow service (even a smoothie took ten minutes). The staff were behaving as if it had just opened that day.

  Ordered some food via one of the screens and had to pay cash so went up to the till to pay and was greeted by the rudest member of staff who was very hesitant to help me, she looked at me and said 'what do you want?' no hello, no smile, just rude!! Even my 9 year old daughter asked me why she was so rude. Then the man who brought the food to our table basically slammed the tray down
