Greggs is a British food to go brand, specialising in fresh bakes, sandwiches, hot drinks and sweet treats. Founded in 1939, Greggs started out selling eggs and yeast by pushbike, ten years later the first shop opened on Gosforth High Street, in Newcastle. Now, over 80 years later Greggs is a household name thanks to their tasty Sausage Rolls, Steak Bakes, Chicken Bakes, Doughnuts, Yum Yums and freshly ground Fairtrade Coffee. With shops across the UK, you're never far away from a Greggs. And with new offerings like Click + Collect and delivery to your door with Just Eat, it's never been easier to get your flakey fix. The Greggs App gives customers tasty rewards every time they shop. From sandwiches to sweet treats, hot drinks and bakes, each time you buy a product, you'll get a stamp. Collect nine stamps in a category, and the tenth item will be free. New customers can also get a free hot drink of their choice, just for downloading the app. The Greggs Foundation aims to build stronger, healthier communities across nine principle programmes including 'The Breakfast Club programme', which helps primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day. Today there are over 680 Breakfast Clubs across the UK, serving wholesome, free breakfasts to around 44,000 children every school day- that's 8.5 million meals a year.

Heres my take...
The food is gamble (of they have it what you ordered normally only half the time) it can be room temperature or burning hot
The tables are normally dirty such as kechup stains and wrappers left and you normally have to clean it yourself
The staff are okay as there willing to help out when requested but really just press some coffee button select options when not taking an order not cleaning or restocking which they dont seem to do after like 11:00am and oh they can get order wrongs sometimes just be careful and recommend to check the food and the people as ecen they can be questionable sometimes not a fault on greggs just saying no offense to anyone...of your lucky you cant even get in as theres somethinf regarding a customer screaming over a speck of dust on there sausage roll and other anti-social behavior

I often visit greggs near tesco guildford. I highly appreciate the service. I have always loved greggs, red pepper feta bake and triple chocolate donut are my favorite. I would like to thank Rashmi who served me the other day, she was very polite and sweet throughout the conversation. Making me understand the meal deals and offers, she helped me know about the app which is quite interesting and now I get free stuff and treats through app :).

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
We’re no longer taking new applications for end-of-day food donation partners, but we continue to identify regions where our shops could support a local charitable collection. To find out more or nominate an organisation visit: https://www.greggsfoundation.org.uk/unsold-food-donations.
Why do you have different prices regionally?
It is very common for retailers to have regional prices. This is because the costs of running a business can vary across different parts of the country and in certain locations, for example rent costs. We always keep our prices as low as possible for our customers.
