Looks cute from the outside. Expectations soon dashed. Full English consisted of scrambled eggs that tasted microwaved. Hash browns were literally cold to the touch, straight out the fridge. Tomatoes barely cooked. Staff rather cold and distant. Space is tight and table set up not child friendly

We went for coffee and a bite to eat but, to be frank, it was extremely disappointing. Coffee was underwhelming- not, I suspect, the fault of well meaning staff but more likely poor training of the barrista. We chose an eggs florentine and pancake stack. The eggs were good (I am fussy about my poached eggs) and muffin beneath was average. The spinach was raw and it would have been better to have used wilted spinach. The pancakes were the highly processed variety and virtually inedible with that awful bicarb taste. The portion was generous so it was quite a disappointment. Overall, I might pop in for a coffee but I wouldn't stop for any more than that.

The selection of pastries was disappointing, and both the coffee and hot chocolate were noticeably weak. From publications on the walls this clearly has been a great coffee shop, so maybe this was a temporary glitch. Reply to owner: It was definitely the High Street branch. We were there approx 10;45 to 11:10 on Saturday 14th March. There were 2 ladies serving, I believe.
