⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — FANTASTIC FOOD, WONDERFUL STAFF & SUCH A REFRESHING COFFEE SHOP EXPERIENCE ☕ ☕ Great coffee + 🍳 properly cooked food + 🥑 fresh ingredients + 🧼 spotless surroundings + 😊 genuinely happy staff = a fantastic coffee shop. 😊 The Customer Service Was Honestly Outstanding What impressed us most was how genuinely happy and friendly the staff were. It was so refreshing to walk into a coffee shop where the staff actually seemed pleased to see customers. Smiling faces, a warm hello, asking how you are, having a little conversation — it felt natural rather than forced. In a time when so many places feel rushed or miserable, this was such a lovely change. ❤️ 🍳 The Full Vegetarian Breakfast Was Excellent We ordered 2× Esquires Full Vegetarian breakfasts (£12 each) and they were much better than we expected from a coffee shop. You get smashed avocado, two vegan sausages, tomato, a large mushroom, tiny taters, two eggs, baked beans and two slices of toasted sourdough. The scrambled eggs were soft, creamy and nicely cooked, the avocado was fresh and smooth, the mushrooms were juicy and full of flavour, the tomatoes were properly cooked rather than just warmed up, and the little potato bites were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The beans arrived hot, the vegan sausages had a nice texture, and the toasted sourdough completed it perfectly. It felt like a proper freshly cooked breakfast, not something thrown together. 🥑 Everything on the Plate Worked Together The portions were generous without feeling ridiculous.🤤 🥚 The Eggs Florentine Was Beautifully Cooked We also ordered the Eggs Florentine (£9.60) with spinach, two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and black pepper on toasted English muffins. The poached eggs were soft and delicate, the spinach was fresh and the hollandaise was rich, creamy and generously poured over the top. The toasted muffin underneath soaked up some of that sauce beautifully. Really enjoyable and properly presented. ☕ Even the Drinks Were Lovely We had a chai latte and cappuccino as well. Both were smooth, warm and nicely made. 🌿 Such a Calm, Comfortable Place to Sit We brought the family here because we wanted somewhere to have a break and relax, and it was perfect. Comfortable seating, air conditioning, loads of natural light coming through the roof and, importantly, no loud music blasting away in the background. 🧼 Everything Was Clean and Looked After Free drinking water and napkins are available to help yourself to as well. The whole place feels organised and properly maintained. 🐶 It Has Such a Happy Atmosphere People were coming in with their dogs, regular customers were sitting nearby, staff were chatting warmly with people and the atmosphere just felt happy. That sounds simple, but it is surprisingly rare. You walk in and feel welcome rather than like another order number. 👏 The Little Things Made a Big Difference We asked if we could have some mayonnaise on the side and the response was immediately “Of course, no problem.” No awkwardness, no attitude. Card payments accepted, food brought to your table and no silly service charge automatically added on top. 💷 Total Cost was Around £49 for the Family Meal — And We Left Very Happy For two full vegetarian breakfasts, Eggs Florentine and our drinks, we paid around £49. Considering the quality of the food, the portions, the surroundings and especially the service, we felt very happy with the experience. ❤️ The Staff Are What Really Make This Place Special The food was genuinely excellent, but somehow the customer service was even better than the food. That says a lot. It is honestly refreshing to see coffee shop staff smiling, welcoming people and looking like they actually enjoy having customers walk through the door. ⭐ We Would Absolutely Come Back This is one of those places where you finish your meal and think, “We need to come here again.” I completely understand why the people sitting around us seemed like regular customers. Esquires Coffee Esher has definitely gained another regular customer. ❤️👏

Be prepared to be completely ignored by the staff. Food looked amazing, but ... could not get any... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Loved the signage though- one should always keep the door close... 😄

I asked my wife to get me an egg sandwich in brown bread as I was feeling hungry and was looking forward to a nice light bite. What I was met with looks real bad, the amount of egg mayo thrown into the sandwich was ridiculous, not to mention the buttering of the bread was a slap of butter net spread evenly on the sandwich that I actually felt sick when I saw it. That was the most unpleasant looking, tasting sandwich ever. From the images you will see the amount of egg mayo removed due to the serious overload. Compare that to a simple sandwich that has even butter spread, looks delicious this was at the other end. Simple question why would anyone making a sandwich in a supposedly high end cafe make a sandwich that looked like it came from a cafe that has no idea how to make a sandwich. I’ve ate the bread and the egg just all fell out clumped up like a big ball. I’m sorry to post this but hopefully they see this and realise that less is more, balance the butter, do t Rio the bread, and don’t stuff the sandwich so think it’s sickening to look at. That must have been the most unappealing sandwich I’ve ever seen. Here’s hoping I don’t get sick later, who k owes how long the egg was sitting there but it was like a ball of putty. As far as the atmosphere goes to review it was a takeaway, well I never buy a takeaway from there again.
