The website states that this Tesco store is closed, yet the store itself is actually open. That in itself isn’t the main issue. The problem is that customers are being allowed into the store around 30 minutes before the tills are opened, without being clearly informed that they cannot pay for their shopping until later. I completed my shopping only to then be told that the tills were not yet open. I subsequently had to wait around 12 minutes in a queue before the tills finally opened. If customers are being allowed into the store, they should either be informed clearly at the entrance that the tills are not yet operating, or customers should not be allowed to shop until they are available. Allowing customers to complete their shopping and then making them wait 12 minutes just to pay is extremely frustrating and completely avoidable. The communication and organisation at this store need to be improved.

Nice friendly staff and managed to get everything I needed. Checkout was disappointing. Staff tried to help by taking my full trolly to a self checkout where they scanned everything but the till had a weighing scale and we ended up taking 20mins plud instead of just a few minutes. You have to pay for parking but refunded if you spend over £10. To get your refund you need the ticket but you also have to display it in your vehicle. Very odd.

Dark dingy and needs a good clean. To many students make the store over crowded at times.
