  For the past three years, this coffee shop has become my absolute favourite! The staff are incredible. They are always friendly and welcoming not to mention their amazing latte art and band nights! Many times have I been to study and I have never been told to move. The drinks and food are always amazing. Whenever I bring friends and family they all agree this place is brilliant. I have no complaints.

  The staff were so lovely and kind!! I got the white chocolate raspberry matcha and it was just the right amount of sweet!! I definitely recommend checking this place out!! 😋

  Cute comfy place, extremely friendly service, tastiest chocolatiest mocha frappe ever!! Very happy with my visit and will definitely be back :) also they play some tunesss

  I realllyyyyy don’t like giving bad reviews but I have given this place the benefit of the doubt so many times, because it is such a nice atmosphere, but I am consistently dissatisfied and it gets to the point where I can’t understand how much they can get wrong. My first bad experience was a while ago and was an unpleasant interaction with the manager who was very unnecessarily rude, thought maybe he was just having a bad day but I can see many similar experiences here now. The food is not good. One time about a year ago I had an avocado on toast which was great, but since then it has always been bad. Cinnamon bun was so dry. I came recently about a month ago with my friend and they ordered avocado on toast and paid extra for halloumi, only to have the meal served with raw halloumi? I’m sure it’s edible but I’m not sure anyone is paying £3 extra for halloumi to be served cold raw halloumi. The matcha used to be good, but on 3 seperate occasions now, I have specified for matcha without any syrup, and they have put vanilla syrup in it. I get if it’s just a one time thing but three times is crazy. The reason I am finally reviewing esquires is because I went in today and ordered a raspberry matcha with oat milk and no syrup. They said they couldn’t do the raspberry- which was fine, so I said, okay in that case I’ll just do a regular matcha with oat milk and no syrup. I asked for oat milk twice. And then when I was rang up I could see my order on the screen- and it did not say oat milk. I said to the server “is that with oat milk” and ONLY THEN, after the third time asking, was i informed that they had ran out of oat milk so couldn’t do it. The fact that they had ran out was fine- but I cannot believe that I had to ask three times in order to be informed that they didn’t have it- if I hadn’t checked the third time, I am sure I would have been served a matcha with cows milk, I don’t know why my request for oat milk was ignored, it is not difficult to inform someone that the requested milk is out, would they like another alternative milk. ESPECIALLY when it comes to allergens. I am extremely lactose intolerant and came very close to being served cows milk because I received incompetent service. To top it off, I was served a matcha with vanilla syrup. I am sorry to leave a bad review but I feel the continuous bad service and the lack of safety concerning allergens calls for it.

  A great spot to relax near Waitrose in Egham. The café has comfortable seating, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. I enjoyed the coffee, and the tomato and cheese croissant was fresh, warm, and delicious. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stop for a coffee break, and I’d be happy to visit again.
