  Food took ages to come, wasn't asked once if the food was ok, didn't ask if we wanted any condiments. Asked if we wanted to look at the desert menu we did 20 mins later another waitress asked if we wanted to look at the desert menu!! Messed up the drinks order as the food was average at best. Feel sorry for the staff as clearly no management instructions or directions

  I have been here on five occasions. The last two occasions, I ordered roast beef with an extra two slices (@2.49). The first time I did that, only two slices arrived. I pointed out I'd ordered an extra two slices. I was then brought the extra slices with complimentary roasters. Today, I ordered the same meal. Lo and behold, only two slices arrived once again. On this occasion, having pointed out the extra two slices were missing, the waitress today, tried to convince me, it was to do with weighted portions, and the two slices were slightly bigger. I maintained that wasn't the case last time, it's not what is advertised on the menu and my friend had ordered a standard roast beef with two slices the same size as the two on my plate. After a quite a confrontation, the waitress went to the kitchen and returned with an extra slice of beef 🫤. If you visit this establishment. The food is fantastic. However, if you fancy an extra two slices of beef, don't bother unless you want to haggle for them. After all they'll charge you £2.49 for the two extra (invisible) slices of beef.😕 On a brighter note, the deserts are well worth a try. The Ice cream Sundae with caramel Cadbury buttons is delicious 😋

  Perfect for a light lunch , lovely little pub ,small garden... Really nice atmosphere,staff are really friendly. Our server today was milly.... Excellent service

  Fantastic little pub ,very reasonable prices . Absolutely love the cosy atmosphere. We were served by Milly today ,excellent service. Will definitely visit again

  Went for all you could eat breakfast at £10.99, food was nice and hot and also had cossiant and blueberry muffin as well as fruit salad, I must say the service was very good and staff was very friendly
