  Went here for a family meal on a Wednesday night. Staff were very friendly and cheerful, interacting wonderfully with our young girls. Food was very tasty and good size portions (can't speak about dessert as we were too stuffed to eat any!) All in all a great experience and would visit again and recommend to others.

  Had our starter, then had to wait another 50 minutes for our main meal. When I asked what the problem was, was told Mother's Day is their busiest day of the year and they were sort staffed. The kitchen wasn't keeping up with the orders. Not as good as it used to be a couple of years ago. Not sure if I would give it a go again. Very disappointing experience.

  Not a good experience.. booked a table for MIL 86th birthday treat as we've eaten there before and everything was lovely. No greeting at front of house, server rushed on ahead while we had to try and catch up to see where she was seating us. Ordered drinks and asked for some table water as well, drinks arrived but never received table water even after prompting . Food arrived chips luke warm, chicken was tough. Lasagne and garlic bread was cremated. Didn't get offered any condiments so asked and server mumbled something, returned with sauce sachets on plate. Didn't get asked if we would like more drinks or if everything was ok. Tried to get servers attention when we saw them but blanked. Server came to clear plates and we explained we weren't happy. Tried to explain we would have spent more money by having pudding and more drinks if they where more attentive, but we waited long enough & just wanted to get out of there quick. She said bear in mind there is only 3 servers here today. Trying to deflect by stating that, does not warrant sloppy service. She went of to speak to manager and returned telling us they would deduct the drinks £8. No verbal apology offered from them, so they obviously don't want customers to return. Staffing levels need to reflect bookings and vica versa, A smile from a couple of the servers & good eye contact (especially the lady in the suit) ,wouldn't have gone amiss either..

  Regular visitors until covid. Came last year, food and service was poor. Left it a year and visited last night 19/1/24, nothing has changed! Waited an hour for food, 20mins for drinks! When food arrived the chips were cold and soggy. Fish had been refried. We wont be back until they change the chef. Sorry! Shame , as its walking distance from the house. area manager, what the hell are you doing about it?
