  This shop was the nearest Yodel drop-off point, despite being a 25-minute walk away. On arrival, I found a note on the door stating they couldn't print labels. When I asked for help, the staff seemed uninterested and simply suggested printing the label at home, which wasn't an option for my return and would have required another 50-minute round trip.

  🛒✨ A real local gem – so much more than just a convenience store! This SPAR has become one of those places you don’t realise how much you rely on until you start using it regularly. Since the refurbishment about a year ago, it’s been transformed into a bright, clean and really well-stocked store. The layout is easy to navigate, the shelves are tidy, and there’s genuinely a bit of everything you might need 👍 🥐 Food & variety: From fresh bakery items and hot food to “bake at home” options, frozen goods and everyday essentials, the choice is excellent. The kids always enjoy the sweet selection 🍬, and there’s plenty for quick dinners, snacks or last-minute bits you’ve forgotten. 🍷 Extras you don’t always expect: A great drinks selection (including alcohol), household essentials, cards, magazines, and even those random “useful bits” you didn’t know you needed until you saw them. 📦 Parcel services – a big win: I regularly use this store for parcel drop-offs and collections (Yodel, Collect+, etc.), and the service has been consistently fantastic. Staff are always helpful and efficient, which makes a big difference 👏 🚶‍♂️🚗 Accessibility & convenience: Easy to walk to locally, and when driving there’s usually parking available nearby. In and out quickly when needed, or easy to browse when you’ve got a bit more time. 😊 Overall feel: Friendly staff, well organised, and just a genuinely pleasant place to shop. It’s clear a lot of effort has gone into making it a proper community store rather than just somewhere to grab essentials. ⭐ 5/5 – a brilliant local shop that ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended.

  Used to go to this shop everyday and still do. The staff are very kind. I was disappointed when they stopped selling hotdogs I think they should bring those back! Overall it’s a great shop and I would look forward to see like more bakery/food options on there food stand. But anyway it’s a great shop!
