Despite being run off her feet, Summer was exemplary and looked after multiple tables with such positivity and respect throughout and ensured the orders were just as expected and piping hot! Please ensure my feedback is shared with her.

Well, this was a first for me: entering a pub/restaurant for something to eat, seeing clearly it was completely empty, only to be told, "Oh no, we can't seat you; we're fully booked." I would love for management to check the CCTV for Monday, June 22nd, at 4:50, and see what we saw. Five tables had between two and four people, and there were at least 16 empty tables. I would also love a response from management because, to me, it looks like the staff doesn't want paying customers because they don't want to be working. Head office obviously has no clue people are turned away when the place is empty. I've worked in hospitality for 15 years, and I can bet anyone that if I sat outside this pub for 1 hour, no more than 2 groups would have entered for food. 4:30 to 6 p.m. is always the quietest time for customers wanting food, and that obviously is correct because this place was totally empty.

Very disappointing experience at the Frome Flyer Beefeater. The service was extremely slow from start to finish, and to make matters worse, half of our drinks order was forgotten and only arrived after we had to ask again.
What made the visit particularly unpleasant was the attitude of our waitress, who came across as rude and arrogant throughout the meal. Customer service should make guests feel welcome, but unfortunately we felt like an inconvenience.
Overall, poor service, long waits, and an unprofessional attitude made for a disappointing dining experience. I wouldn't rush back.

Very small portions for the price. If you get here before 5pm you will be ok however as a hotel most will be arriving after, so the price doubles. Could count the amount of chips i got, however the food was ok but i did leave feeling peckish still.
Service was very good and despite being busy the young lad who attended to us was police and friendly

Let’s just start with we know hospitality is hard and sometimes you can be understaffed … however, when people are waiting a long time for a table that they booked, on a what looks like a very slow night in the restaurant but still every table has the last persons left overs on it, it’s not a good start.
We were then taken over to be seated and told just before we sat down, “if I take a while you are at table … just order at the bar”. Didn’t look or feel like she wanted to try too hard or to keep some sort of standard.
My partner then went to the bar to order. Whilst there he was waiting a while with 3 staff at the bar. One sorting drinks and another two girls. One who decided to sit down behind the bar to complain about her feet and proceed to ask her colleague for a foot rub. Her colleagues response was “let me get these drinks and then I will”. Meanwhile my partner is still waiting to be served. (I get it’s hard being on your feet and you need a break but do it away from the customers).
Finally managed to order and sat waiting. 3 others customers around us advised us they’ve had a bad experience and have been waiting ages to order and the food to arrive, to which they joked we could be here until Christmas.
My partner’s steak came out burnt on the outside and red on the inside. It was not edible and my partner left it. By this point we just wanted to leave, so we did.
Unless they up their standards and train their staff on how to be professional in front of customers I don’t think we would visit again.
