  Good food, but the wait was long. Waited for more than 20 mins for my burger to arrive. Instead of the “dark chocolate sauce” listed on the menu for the apple gyoza, I got something that looked more like caramel, and no one even notified me of the change, let alone asked if that would be ok.

  Had a simple eggs on toast - unfortunately eggs were cold the first time so I flagged the waitress and let her know. She grabbed the plate and left, few minutes later my eggs on toast arrived again - she said the plate was hot, which was a good indication that the same eggs have been reheated for me. It was the worst eggs on toast I have ever had. I usually love Giraffe but this was a massive disappointment!

  We regularly eat here. Service today was erratic, at best. No one came over, until I begged 15 minutes in. The young dark-haired woman seemed not to care at all. Coffee was served with cold milk, when hot milk was ordered. No apology - coffee was slopped into saucer. Porridge and cooked breakfast were lovely. £3.75 extra for toast is ridiculous, though. Tendai rescued the experience, by being conversational and helpful!

  Every time we go away we pop in for food before our flight, today we had breakfast and the staff seemed like they didn't give a shit.we got seated straight away as it was very quiet,and after 15 minutes we had to call them to take our order. Then after our breakfast we had to call them again so we could leave .the staff wasn't very attentive, friendly or happy, if you want to work in hospitality you need to change your attitude

  Very tasty vege breakfast - a bit spicy and full of flavour, however could had arrived a bit hotter to my table. The service at the beginning though was not too enthusiastic - felt a bit tired and down - the communication could had been more engaging and positive. However, maybe they are just overworked and not motivated by the employer or maybe simply because it was an early morning. In contrast, the lady who took my payment was very kind and full of positive attitude. More vegetarian options could be an advantage.
