  Great refurb, staff are great and really friendly. But whoever owns it now has completely ruined the food offerings. Menu is abysmal, portions are tiny, and are quite clearly just what you’d get at any other chain pub. Completely destroys everything that the Ivy was good for. Won’t bother again

  A nice amount of vegan options and were very accommodating of my request to remove bread from my meatball sub 😂.

  We come in for food every now and then and have loved it, but recently the atmosphere/quality just doesn’t seem there. After receiving burnt/poor quality food numerous times from the same chef (the one with glasses) we’ve stopped coming for food. Don’t know whether it’s because she spends that much time on her phone, or swearing at other customers/staff alike, but when it’s £14 a pizza, we don’t expect it to be burnt. We would send it back, but after being warned when ordering about wait times, we then don’t want to wait again for food that should have been fine the first time. We have both heard conversations between this ‘chef’ and other people (unsure if customers or staff) that were very uncomfortable to hear, to the point we’ve moved tables a couple of times so we’re not near the kitchen. Don’t recommend coming for food unless the other chef is working, atmosphere is alright on a weekend for a pint.
