Meat pizza but no meat | September 28, 2026 (~8:57 PM) We have ordered from Domino’s five times before, but tonight’s order from the Houghton-le-Spring branch was an absolute disappointment and by far the worst experience we’ve had. We ordered a Large Hot & Spicy pizza and a Large Honey Drizzle Chicken pizza online, and paid £4.99 for delivery. When the food arrived, the state of the pizzas was unbelievable—there was barely a countable amount of meat on either of them, which is completely unacceptable for large pizzas. When we called the store to report the issue, we spoke with a staff member named Codi. He initially dismissed our complaint by saying "this is how the pizza is." When asked again, he claimed he personally made the pizza so he knows what he put on it—heavily implying that we were making it up. To dismiss a customer's genuine complaint like that is insulting service. When I mentioned leaving a review, he couldn't have cared less. Looking at their 3.2-star rating, it’s clear this poor attitude and lack of service are ongoing issues. Domino’s head office needs to take action on this branch. Paying full price plus a £4.99 delivery fee only to receive barely topped pizzas and dismissive customer service is unacceptable.

I would have given 5 stars if they cut the pizzas. Unfortunately the last 3 orders the pizzas have not been cut which is a bit of a nuisance But the picture themselves were lovely, and delivery was prompt and friendly.
