  Very unfriendly staff members not willing to help but refusing people buying giftcards in the store. This is the worst Tesco I have ever visited

  i am giving a one star review as the security guard on the 22nd of july 2026 around 2230-2300h, was being rude towards my family and i. two of us were being playful with no one else in the aisle, so we were not being disruptive and he shouted across the store at us. we were really confused and looked at him and he yelled again. as we were leaving, he shouted ‘what are you looking at?’ but none of us were paying attention to him. it was really weird and aggressive. if someone is doing something wrong, speak to them to directly instead of shouting. we are all human beings who deserve respect.

  I had gone into Tesco in the evening 22/07/2026. Myself and my family were calmly shopping. Then my child decided to throw the bag of sweets in the trolley. The security guard for that evening began to shout at me and my family, causing my child to be in fear. As we left the shop, we had just glanced at him. He began to shout “who are you looking at?” He was a black guy.

  That black security guard was being overly rude for absolutely no reason and yelling at us. We felt very threatened as he yelled across the table “what are you looking at” and then saying this isn’t a basketball court? Is this him assuming that we play basketball because we’re black??
