  On a business trip. Service was quick and friendly. Food was OK. Slightly small portion but steak cooked well

  Unfortunately I am unable to write a good review. We arrived at 8.40 thinking we had 20 minutes to decide our food order. The lad behind the counter said we had 5 minutes to order all of our rounds there and then, which felt fairly rushed. He was nice enough but would forget a couple of details regarding our order within 30 seconds of telling him. We then sat for 10 minutes waiting for our drinks, he came back over asking us to remind him what we had ordered. When drinks arrived my Doom Bar was incredibly flat and tasted like chemicals. Food was basic and they forgot the bacon on my burger. Our plates were not cleared before puddings arrived and the puddings were left on the end of the table expecting us to sort out who's was who's. My chocolate cake was cold (should have been hot) My partner had a tea at the end of the meal because the coffee machine was out of order. Our sugars were removed from the table so she went up to the bar to ask for them back and she was handed a single sugar reluctantly. She then searched on other tables to find more as she felt she was being a nuisance. When paying I mentioned about the problems and we got a slightly discruntled face and was asked to part with £49 for a meal which left us still hungry afterwards (We are not big people and we finished all our plates) Wouldn't recommend sadly!.

  Went for the first time today and had Sunday lunch. Food very good, service great and excellent value for money. Will be back!
