  Visited today and when I got to the tills there was a man at the next till who was refused a purchase of alcohol due to being under the influence. This was understandable to keep staff and customers safe. However, he didn't make a fuss and he left the store without too much issue. This was in the morning, he was an older man on his own and it was clear he is in a vulnerable place in life. After he left 3 members of staff, openly discussed this man and his problems, plus things that had happened during his previous visits to the store. This was in front of other customers and instead of focusing on scanning my shopping the cashier serving me, kept stopping to loudly discuss the man with their colleagues. Once I'd paid I expressed my disapproval to the cashier. I think it was very unprofessional to discuss this and other incidents so publicly, but to put a man down who is clearly struggling is low. I agree the man should not have been served, but what followed was shameful. We are all just human beings and you never know a person's struggles, so be kind. If you cant be kind, be quiet. Especially in your workplace. Unfortunately, this is my local shop so I will have to return, but I will be avoiding those members of staff if they are on shift.

  Usual Tesco's. Clean and good quality fruit and vegetables. Good value and no queues

  We bought a large bag of Maris Piper potatoes yesterday when we got home and unpacked we noticed a horrible smell coming from the potatoe bag we opened them and checked each one which had no signs of decay but all the potatoes were smelly and wet it smelled of rotten fish .. disgusting ! We threw them out immediately.
